I want to offer my condolences to the (Ayers) Wood family and friends. It is a painful thing to lose a love one in death. Even Jesus gave way to tears when Lazarus died (John 11:35).Take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father knows your pain. He calls death an enemy and promised to remove it forever__ 1 Corinthians 15:26 “The last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing”. He also promised to awaken our love ones in the memorial tombs from asleep in death. Notice how this is beautifully expressed at Hosea 13:14 “From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; from death I will recover them.” Let these promises from our loving Father keep comforting all of you.

Growing up in Buchanan was always a blessing because so many good people lived there and I always admired Mrs. Sarah Wood from the day I met her. She was born into a good family and did a fine job raising her four daughter's. She was one of the strongest ladies I knew and a hard worker as well. Truly Proverbs 31 was written with her name attached because she was a true example of a Godly woman. I remember a few years ago her grandson Chris stopped to talk to me at my office at church. We had a long conversation that day and he kept on talking about what a good Godly grandmother he had and he knew she always prayed for her family. Not once did he mention her amount of money or things she owned, he just talked about what a Godly lady she was. So it was an honor to know this fine lady who truly has left her mark on this world as she has graduated to the place she has lived to go all these years. Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Just look under the name Sarah Ayers Wood and you will find your answer.
