I am sorry to hear of Murray's passing. He was one of the very best at telling hunting and fishing stories! He was also strong enough in character and as a friend to come visit me after I quit the HCHS football team during my Senior year. I will always remember him for his friendship and sense of humor. He certainly had a great laugh!

My condolences to the family. Some of my earliest deer hunting memories involved Murray. He loved to tell hunting stories that were larger than life and as a young boy I hung on every word. Rest in peace my friend...

My sincere condolences to Murray's family. Years ago, we were active in the First Methidist Church of Tallapoosa. One Easter, he depicted Jesus in an amazing way. I'll never forget him standing in front of a stained glass window with the cross on his back. It was a gorgeous and moving scene that helped tell the story our Choir was singing about in the Cantata. I was so grateful that he agreed to participate, pursuent to my urging. I have many happy memories of Murray. May he rest in peace.
