Wendell Robert Carroll

Wendell Robert Carroll, age 68 of Buchanan, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020. He was born on August 21, 1951 in Bremen to the late Robert Howard Carroll and the late Vesta York Carroll. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his son Shannon LaBonte.

Survivors include his daughter, Suzanne Robinson of Tallapoosa; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Hal Cash of Waco, Sara and Troy Stapler of Buchanan, Shelby and Earnest House of Temple and Linda and Bruce Manning of Gilbert, AZ; five grandchildren, Dru Jiles, Wendy Robinson, Rebecca LaBonte, Jessica LaBonte, Zakk LaBonte and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 11, 2020 from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM with Brother Ricky Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Lee Carroll, Micah Cash, Justin Smith, Dru Jiles, Zakk LaBonte and Ben Robinson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
