Stephen Elmer Turner

Mr. Stephen Elmer Turner, age 64 of Buchanan, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021.  He was born in Cobb County, GA, on March 28, 1957, to the late Elmer and Mary Samples Turner.  Stephen owned his own deer processing business in Buchanan for several years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kim Lorkowski Turner. and two brothers David Turner and Tony Turner.

Mr. Turner is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Stephen and Marie Turner of Ellijay and Wes and Cherie Turner of Smyrna; one daughter, Journey Turner of Buchanan; and five grandchildren, Sabrina, Harlie, Eric, Austin, and Evan.. Also surviving are two sisters, Wanda Garrett of Tallapoosa and Deborah Gurley of Tallapoosa; two brothers Ralph Turner of Jasper and Victor Turner of Jasper; and mother-in-law, Geraldine Lorkowski of Temple.

The family will have a lunch memorial at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 3, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church, Highway 78, Bremen, GA.

The family will also host a celebration of Stephen's life on Monday, May 3, 2021, at 6:00 P.M. at the Buchanan Women's Club Building on Park Heights Street.
