Stanley Roy Cross, II

Stanley Roy Cross, age 43 of Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023. He was born on August 28, 1979, to Mary Ann Watson Cross and Stanley Roy Cross, Sr.  Stanley was a genuine man who was a hard worker and dearly loved his family.  An avid sportsman, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and baseball.  He was also committed to teaching his children to play and enjoy sports.  Watching NASCAR was another one of Stanley's passion.

He is survived by his daughters, Katie Beasley of Carrollton and Christy Cross of Carrollton; his son, Stanley Roy Cross, III of Carrollton; his sister, Tonia Seacrest of Carrollton; and his brother, Michael Cross of Carrollton.  Also surviving are his uncle, Johnny Lee Wilson, and several other relatives and friends. 

The funeral service for Stanley Cross will be conducted on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 4:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Reverend Ben Bonner officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Friday from 3:00 PM until the funeral hour. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
