Robert Earl Coleman

Robert Earl Coleman, age 66 of Tallapoosa, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, in a local hospital.  Born in Kissimmee, Florida, on November 4, 1957, his parents were  the late Lessie Franklin Coleman and the late Kathryn Coleman.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Paula Coleman.

Robert proudly served in the United States Army Special Forces Green Beret from 1970 - 1974 serving two tours in Vietnam.  He retired from Print Pak as a metalizing engineer. During his leisure time he enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.  Robert was known as the "Fix-It" man and could fix just about anything.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 37 years, Cyndi Culberson Coleman of Tallapoosa; his son and daughter-in-law, Zeb & Vanessa Coleman of Buchanan; his daughters and son-in-law, C.J. & John Stephen Gentry of Tallapoosa, and Gracie Coleman of Titusville, FL; and his brother and sister-in-law, Clyde & Ailene Culberson.  Also surviving are his precious grandchildren who called him "Poppy," Dylan Coleman of Titusville and Lucas Coleman of Rockmart, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mr. Coleman's wishes, he will be cremated.
