Lloyd Martin King

Mr. Lloyd Martin King, age 73, of Bremen passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  Mr. King was born in Haralson County, Georgia, on August 11, 1944.  He was the son of the late Leon Martin King and the late Olevia Smith King.  Mr. King was a veteran of the United States Army and was an auto mechanic.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Andy King and Roy King; five sisters, Audie Thompson, Ruby Bates, Dovie Weeks, Doris Jenkins and Dorothy Bell; and two brothers, Lester King and Chester King.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Marisa Jones King of Bremen; two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Tammy King of Valdosta, and Joe and Deborah King of Bremen; twelve grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from Waco Baptist Church with Rev. Chester Pesnell and Rev. Ricky Shadrix officiating.  Interment will follow in the Waco Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Clint King, Ryan King, Jesse King, Kyle King, Jordan King, Jeremiah King, Xavier King and Jacob King. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

Mr. King will lie in state Friday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Church.
