Linda Wood Obituary

Mrs. Linda Lou League Wood, age 72 of Bremen, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020. She was born on May 21, 1947 in Bremen to the late John League and the late Georgia Petty League. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Debra Johnson; three brothers, Ralph League, Johnny Ray League and Larry League. Linda was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Buchanan. She was also retired from Haralson County School System. She loved and cherished her family.

Survivors include her husband Milton Ray Wood of Bremen; two daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Chad Henderson of Bremen and Tina and Jason Newman of Tallapoosa; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Glenda and Terry Jackson and Deannie and David Corley; four grandchildren, Tylor Pate, Megan Morris, Jon Henderson, Brady Henderson and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Mrs. Wood’s wishes she was cremated.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
