Lillie Mae (Christopher) Swann

Mrs. Lillie Mae Christopher Swann, age 76 of the Draketown community, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, in a local hospital.  She was born in Polk County, GA, to the late William Christopher and Annie Mae Carter Christopher.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, William Shannon Keaton, a son-in-law, Curtis Keaton, brother ,Junior Christopher and sisters, Sybil Raburn, Linda Graham, and Violet Nickelson.  Lillie loved taking care of her children and their children.  She enjoyed gardening and sewing, and she had worked for over 40 years at the Dairy Queen in Rockmart.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Swann of Temple; daughters Patricia Durham of Temple; Brenda Keaton of Bremen; and Debbie Arp of Bremen; son and daughter-in-law, Charles F. and Karon Swann of Arkansas; and sisters, Frances Malone of Piedmont, AL, and Diane Christopher of Rockmart.  Also surviving are eighteen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.

In accordance with the family's wishes, she will be cremated.

Memorial services for Lillie Swann will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 6:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
