Mr. Kenneth Author Jenkins, Jr. passed away at home on Sunday morning, May 16, 2021.  He was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 17, 1965 to the late Kenneth Author Jenkins, Sr. and the late Elaine Hamby Jenkins.  Besides his parents, Mr. Jenkins is preceded in death by one son, Chad Jenkins, and one brother, Tommy Jenkins.

Kenneth worked in construction and used those skills to build many things.  He loved being outdoors, grilling, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Kenneth Jenkins is survived by his son, Brandon Jenkins;  four daughters and one son-in-law, Nikkie and Danny Downs, Stormie Jenkins, Kaylee Jenkins, and Paige Jenkins; two step-daughters, Lexie Arnold and Brittany Blair; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Christy Jenkins, and Bobby and Lisa Jenkins; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Jeff Thomas, Barbara and Jeff Robinson, and Tammy and Michael Poulnot.  Kenneth is also survived by his wife, Amanda Blair Jenkins, along with eleven grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other friends and relatives.

Mr. Jenkins will be cremated and a Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date by the family.
