Joseph Blain Smith, Jr., age 91 of Bremen formerly of Miami, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022. He was born in Miami, FL, on August 28, 1931, to the late Joseph Blain Smith, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Woodard Smith. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Florence Smith and Cynthia Bythwood.

Joseph proudly served his country in the United State Air Force from which he retired.

Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Trapp of Bremen; his precious grandchildren, Kelli Jackson, Charles Jackson and Darrick Jackson; thirteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his nieces, Robin (Steven) Epps and Kim (Ronald) McKinnis; his nephew, Daryl Blythwood, and other family and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes, he was cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
