Mr. John Michael Iacono, age 66 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020. He was born on October 21, 1953, in Marietta to the late Michael Joseph Iacono and the late Eleanor Christine Gray Hamilton. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Worthan and great granddaughter, Abigail Wilson.
John loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He was also proud to be a Mason and a Shriner and was retired from Lockheed-Martin.
Survivors include his daughter, Christina Iacono and Clark Williams of California; son, Michael Iacono, II and Natalie of Cedartown; brothers, Terry and Patsy Worthan of Woodland, AL and Gary and Martha Worthan of Cartersville; seven grandchildren, Marissa and AJ Kirkland, John and CJ Wilson, Olivia Iacono, John Iacono, II, Austin and Jacyne Iacono, Dakota Iacono and Abel Iacono; nine great grandchildren, his beloved dog Roscoe and several other relatives and friends.
A private family service will be held.
In keeping with Mr. Iacono's wishes he will be cremated following the service.
