Mr. John Anthony Garber, age 60, of Carrollton, GA, formerly of Camden, NJ, passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 6, 2021, while working and singing with his family.. He was born on August 26, 1960, in Camden, NJ, to parents William Harrison and Maryann Garber. John, or Goober and Knuckle Head as he was affectionately known, enjoyed music and attending concerts. He also loved watching football and hockey, especially the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia Flyers.
John is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Sandy Garber of Carrollton, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa A. (Garber) and Ibrahim Farghaly and Daughter Beth A. Rodger; nieces and nephews, Danielle and Cary Darden, Nicholas and Kari Garber; and Frankie and Megan Garber. He is also survived by his cat Socks and his dog Luna as well as great-nieces, Skylar Minyon, Alexis Minyon, Kayla Darden, and Alyssa Garber; and great-nephews, Frank Patrick Minyon, Nicholas Garber, Landon Garber, and Braden Garber.
In accordance with Mr. Garber's wishes, he was cremated. A service will be planned for a later date.
