Jimmie Sue (Scoggins) Herndon

Mrs. Jimmie Sue Herndon, age 80, of Bremen, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020. She was born on October 21, 1939 to the late James Scoggins and the late Evelyn L. Jacobs Scoggins. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Nell Fuller and two brothers, Joseph Scoggins and John Scoggins.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Lee Herndon of Bremen; five daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Barry Redding of Bremen, Linda and Tim Henderson of Bremen, Diane and Randall Richardson of Bremen, Ginger and John Gammon of Bremen and Robin and Kevin Parrott of Buchanan; one sister, Angela Johnson of Tallapoosa; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM with Reverend Jason Hudgins and Reverend Toby Powers officiating. Music will be rendered by Randall Richardson and Tim Henderson. Interment will follow in Baptist Tabernacle Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons: Michael Henderson, Brandon Henderson, Josh Parrott, Cody Richardson, Jesse Parrott, John Michael Gammon, Alex Gammon and Daniel Gammon.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
