Jeffrey Layne Fox, Sr.

Mr. Jeffrey Layne Fox, Sr., age 63, of Waco passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. He was born in Salisbury, North Carolina on Thursday, March 17, 1955. Mr. Fox was the son of the late Harry Judd Fox, SR. and the late Miriam “Midge” Varmala (Beck) Fox. Besides his parents, Mr. Fox is preceded in death by his brother, Harry Judd Fox, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Dolores Diane (Whitmarsh) Fox of Waco; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeff, Jr. and Lesleigh Fox of Pascagoula, Mississippi and Joe Fox of Waco; one brother, John Fox of Macon; three grandchildren, Andalyn Saleen Fox, Piper Makennah Fox, and Saelor Reese Fox all of Pascagoula, Mississippi; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mr. Fox was a Veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. Later in life he worked for Marta as a Mechanic.  

In accordance with Mr. Fox’s wishes, he will be cremated.

The family will conduct a memorial service at West Georgia Worship Center in Bremen on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 4 P.M. with Debra Stapleton and Shannon Gerlach officiating. The memorial service will conclude with military funeral honors and flag presentation by the Carroll County Veterans Association Honor Guard.
