Obituary
Imogene Elizabeth Oliver Hulsey, age 94 of Carrollton, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023, in a local healthcare facility. Born on February 4, 1929, in Jasper, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Clinton B. Oliver and the late Mary Johns Oliver. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughters, Cathy Diane Lovelock and Karen Hulsey; her sons, Harold Hoyt Hulsey and Nathan Hulsey; her sisters, Monteen Alverson, Orene Peppers, Gretchen Heatherly, and Margaret Rainwater; and her brothers, Jack Oliver, Edsel Oliver, and Glenn Oliver.
Imogene, a caregiver at heart, loved to cook and spend time with her family. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to classic country music.
Left to cherish her memories are her children: Elizabeth Smith of Villa Rica, Teresa (Randy) Hector of Greer, South Carolina, Donna Fann of Dallas, Laura Hulsey of Sparta, Tennessee, and Ben L. Hulsey of Rockmart; as well as a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
