Mrs. Hazel Sally Miller Chandler, age 83, of Buchanan passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020. She was born on April 23, 1936 in Haralson County to the late Jim Miller and the late Vera Leola Addison Miller. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William Herbert Chandler; three sisters, Bertha Osmer, Evelyn Barber Chandler and Clara Osborne and three brothers, Daniel Miller, Clarence Miller and Junior Miller.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Chandler of Huntsville, AL; two sons, William Tony Chandler and Teresa of Cedartown and James Chandler and Dea of Villa Rica; three grandchildren, Dionysos Madden, James Madden and Michael Chad Chandler; eight great grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Annie Ruth Hammock and Eddie of Felton, Elaine Smith and Roger of Tallapoosa and Nellie Bowen of Felton; three brothers and sister-in-law, Horace Miller of Cedartown, William Miller and Debra of Buchanan, Noble Miller of Buchanan and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel at 1:00 PM with James Madden and Steve Kimball officiating. Mrs. Chandler will lie in state on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the funeral service hour. Interment will follow in Brannon-Perryman Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Horace Miller, William Miller, Chad Chandler, William Miller, Jr., Benji Miller and Steven Miller.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the home of Mrs. Chandler, Mormon Church Rd. Buchanan, GA 30113, starting at 2:00 PM.
