Harold Farmer Obituary

Mr. Harold Everett Farmer, age 83, of Buchanan, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2019. He was born on April 1, 1936 in Felton to the late Ira Earl Farmer and the late Nannie Sue Lee Farmer. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Maggie Lee Smith Farmer; one son, Gary Farmer; one grandchild, Jessica Lynn Farmer; one great grandchild, Mishell Lynn Loudermilk; two sisters, Kate Johnson and Mary Sue Spearman; three brothers, Elbert Earl (Junior) Farmer, Robert Farmer and James Farmer.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Tonya (Calvin) Barfield of Temple and Terry Hirt of FL; two sons and daughter-in-law, John T. Farmer of Buchanan and David (Darlene) White of Felton; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; one sister, Jean Spoehr of Marietta and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Mr. Farmer’s wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a scattering of remains on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Harold's homeplace from 1-5 PM.
