Garry Dennis Dobbs

Garry Dennis Dobbs, age 70 of Temple, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. He was born on November 4, 1950 in Carrollton to the late Samuel “SM” Murdock Dobbs and the late Ruby Inez Gordon Dobbs.

Survivors include his wife, Ivy Mae Johnson Dobbs of Temple; two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Terry Jenkins of Temple and Amy Miller and Jeremy Davis of Villa Rica; one sister and brother-in-law, Shela Belinda and Jimmy Waddle of Bowdon; five grandchildren, Krista Jenkins, Josh Jenkins, Kainan Miller, DaKotah Miller and Kaylyn Miller; one great grandchild, Logan Class; nephews, Phillip Gordon and Brady Gordon; niece Alisha Gordon and several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 4:00 PM from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Dr. Corky Addison officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Terry Jenkins, Josh Jenkins, Phillip Gordon, Kainan Miller, Jeremy Davis and Logan Class. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Soloman.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 PM until the service hour.
