Emma Jean Smith Worley passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Tanner Medical Center. She was born in Alabama on December 4, 1932, the daughter of Nellie Gray Smith and Lucius Seymore Smith.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Render Lee Chatman; her second husband, Namon E. Worley; brothers, L.C. Smith and Hoke Smith and her beloved companion, her Shih Tzu, Precious.
Mrs. Worley is survived by a daughter, Deborah Chatman; a granddaughter, Kimberly Pope and her beloved Cockatiel, Bingo.
Mrs. Worley was the retired owner/ operator of City Tazi in Carrollton, GA, that operated from 1972-1994. She was beloved member of Carrollton Senior center and was voted the official cheerleader of the senior center. She loved to play Bingo and played regularly, even traveled on a bus to out-of-state bingo venues to play.
A memorial service will be announced later. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Jean Worley, Bank OZK.
