Emeline Margaret Hildbold, age 82 of Bowdon, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023. She was born on September 20, 1940, in Detroit, MI,  to the late John Delong and Emeline Dwyer Delong. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two daughters, Emeline Margaret Oleyar and Linda Hildbold; one sister, Janet E. Slagle; and one brother, John Michael Delong.

Ms. Hildbold enjoyed singing and was a member of the Carroll County Community Chorus and a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

Survivors include her two sons, David Hildbold and Roderick Hildbold; daughter, Jane Marie Rice; twenty-one grandchildren; forty great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers, Timothy Delong of Oxford, MI, and Patrick Delong of Troy, MI.

In keeping with the family's wishes she will be cremated.

A Requiem Mass will be conducted on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 3:00 PM, from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 210 Old Centerpoint Rd, Carrollton, GA, with Rev. Fr. James Akpan presiding.   A Requiem Mass will also be conducted on Thursday, September 20, 2023, from Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church, 2600 Harvard Road, Berkley, MI, with interment to follow in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
