Mr. Duey "Poppy" Franklin Robertson, age 77 of Winston, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. He was born on January 4, 1943 in Anniston Alabama to the late Otis Lee Robertson and the late Esther Mae Roberts Robertson. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Joan Russell; two brothers, Rodney Robertson and Steve Robertson.

"Poppy" had the best sense of humor. He loved music, especially classic county. He was an athlete and a super hard worker, but most of all he loved his family.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Nancy Davis Robertson of Winston; daughter, Gina Robertson of Bremen; son, Rodney Robertson of Carrollton; one brother, Donald Robertson of Alabama; three granddaughters, Abby Barboza Sadler of Bremen, Liliana Barboza Allison of Mooresburg, TN and Grace Barboza of Bremen; three great grandchildren, River Kate Sadler, Rhett Sadler and Hank Emory Allison and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes he will be cremated.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
