Duane L. Stephenson

Mr. Duane L. Stephenson, age 52 of Bremen, passed away suddenly Tuesday, April 27, 2021.  He was born November 28, 1968, in Chicago, IL, to Steven Douglas Stephenson and the late Lynne Nancy MacGlashan Stephenson.  Duane was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tallapoosa.  He loved his family, his job as a truck driver and he loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs play football.  Duane also enjoyed helping others whenever he could.

Survivors include his wife, Lorie Zeigler Stephenson of Bremen; daughters, Marcy Stephenson of Woodstock and Jordynlynne Stephenson of Bremen; sons Ryan and Chase Stephenson of Bremen; a sister, Catherine "Kitty" Stevens of Bremen; and brothers, Steven D. Stephenson II of Hobart, IN; Brian Stephenson of Columbia, MI; and Donald Benjamin Wilson of Tallapoosa; as well a a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will host a celebration of Duane's life on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at 2:30 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tallapoosa.
