Donald Dove Jr passed January 3,2018 in Atlanta, Ga but was born in Gary, In to Donald and Bertha (Inell )Dove Sr.  Whom he is precede in death by as well as brother Robert Dove.  Donald has two sisters Beverly (Tookie) Timmons and Pamela(Eddie) Woods. He Graduated Froebel High School and Served several tours in the U.S Army where he was honorably discharged.  He also worked for U S Steel where he also belong to Union 1066 in which he was the Vice President for Several Years.  Donald Dove worked for and with the United Way where he continued to support locals, governors, mayors and local politicians in the community.

Though he was a fatherly figure to countless children in the community and state Donald Dove Jr was also the husband to Barbara Dove over 35 year and had several children Angela Perry/Raleigh NC, Johnetta (Theo)Crawford/Gary,In.,Leslie(Capt. Darren)Ingram/Germany,Darda(Marlena)Dove/ Georgia, Donald (Tekoa)Dove III Texas, Barachel Johnson/Georgia and Samuel Dove/ Gary In.  He has a great number of grand and great grand children,nieces,nephews,close cousins, in laws,friends and church family Peace Baptist of Gary,In that will miss him dearly.
