Dennis Jon Stryker

Dennis Jon Stryker, age 66 of Marietta, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, in a local hospital.  Born in Stamford, New York, on March 22, 1956, he was the son of the late Kenneth Sonny Stryker and the late Barbara DeWitt Stryker.  In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Stryker, Jr. 

Growing up in New York, Dennis attended Woodstock and continued to love the rock and roll bands of the 70's   He enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a bit of a daredevil himself.  Dennis retired from construction as a crane operator.  He was always willing to help wherever needed and his word was his bond.  

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Blake and Rujon Stryker of Carrollton; and his grandchildren, Drake Munoz, Layla Munoz, and Elijah Munoz.  Also surviving are a sister, Tina Mirtallo of Stamford, NY; nephews, Jason Stryker and Jeremy Stryker, and a niece, Jennifer Stryker..

Funeral services for Dennis Stryker will be conducted on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 2:00 pm from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  The family will receive friends from Noon until the funeral hour.   In accordance with Dennis' wishes, he will be cremated following the service.
