Daniel Swarts Obituary

Daniel Lee Swarts, age 71 of Bremen, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021. He was born in San Diego, California on February 18, 1950 to the late Sam Swarts and the late Barbara Goeb Swarts. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Swarts and Pete Swarts.

Daniel was a hardworking man, one of his many jobs was Captain of the Timber, Oregon Fire Department. He was a man of few words, but was a good Christian, loved to pan for gold and most of all he loved his family.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Margaret Ann Owen Swarts; sons and daughter-in-law, Jeramie C. Swarts of Oregon and Ronnie (Louann) Eason of Franklin; daughter, Kelisha Eason Disharoon of Bremen; sister, Susan Swarts of Washington; brother, Keith Swarts; eight grandchildren, Jeramie Swarts, Jaxson Swarts, Payton Swarts, Austin Quillen, Jaden Disharoon, Cierra Quillen, Josie Henry, Summer Eason and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Daniel’s wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a celebration of life on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at John Tanner State Park at pavilion 3 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a covered dish that was Dan's favorite. Bring a balloon for a balloon release.
