Mrs. Cheryl Martin Millsap, of Waco, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021,in a local hospital after a brief illness. She was born on September 4, 1951, in Carrollton, GA, to the late Connie Westbrook Shelton and Ray Martin. Cheryl worked for more than forty years at Sewell Manufacturing Company in Bremen. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters Debra Davis and Marie Martin, and one grandchild, Keyla Nicole Spradlin.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, David Millsap of Waco; three daughters and sons-in-law, Renee and David Wooten, Sr. of Buchanan; Angel and Shane Spradlin of Tallapoosa; and Tina and Mike Schmittou of Carrollton; one son, Jim Millsap of Carrollton; and seven grandchildren, David Wooten, Jr., Danielle Wooten, Kayla Spradlin Dixon, Trace Spradlin, Cory Millsap, Katie Schmittou, and Jacob Schmittou.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cheryl Millsap will be conducted on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 2:00 PM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Homer Wysner officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour.
In accordance with the family's wishes, Mrs. Millsap will be cremated after the funeral service.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel and Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the Millsap family.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, all attending the service are asked to wear masks and maintain proper social distance from those not in your family.
