Charles "Red" Spears Obituary

Charles Richard "Red" Spears, age 64 of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday 4, 2023, after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 26, 1958, in Marietta, GA, to the late William "Andy" Anders and the late Ruby Annette Anders. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Debra Sue Mulkey; his son JoJo Hall; his brother, Billy Anders; and grandmother, "mom" Addie Mae Spears. Red was a hard worker and spent more than 40 years working as a carpenter helping build many houses in this area.

Survivors include his son, Charles Eugene Spears of Bremen; daughters, Penny DeAnn Mulkey of Tallapoosa and Pam Hall of Buchanan; sisters, Janie McBurnett of Austell and Joann Dyer of Snellville; and brother Tony Sheffield of Commerce. Also surviving are his aunt, Diane Lewis, nephew, Josh Anders; niece, Vanessa Pollard; and great niece, Layla Pollard.

In accordance with his wishes, Charles Richard Spears will be cremated.
