Charles Hadley Reeves, age 71 of Carrollton, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, in a local hospital. Born in Bremen, Georgia, on March 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Grady Reeves and the late Evie Smith Reeves. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his son, Charles Christopher Reeves, and several brothers and sisters.
Charles spent many hours buying, restoring, and selling cars. For several years, he owned a tire business in Bremen where he sold and repaired tires. In his leisure time, Charles enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. With a heart of gold, he would help anyone who needed it. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 50 years, Linda Pruitt Reeves; his daughter, Carie Lynn Reeves of Villa Rica; his sister and brother-in-law, Barbara & Victor Davenport of Buchanan; and his sister-in-law, Peggy Reeves of Tallapoosa. Also surviving are his precious grandchildren: Tayler (Austin Bradley) Young, Karlin Reeves, Joshua Cherman, and Kloie Reeves; his great-grandchild, Hadley Bradley, and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Funeral services for Charles Reeves will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. George Pike officiating. Interment will follow in the Hollywood Cemetery in Tallapoosa.
