Bobby Joe Summerville, age 81 of Bremen, passed away at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta after a brief illness. He was born December 1, 1939, to the late Joe Summerville and the late Evelyn Carroll Summerville. He was a Master Auto Mechanic and Auto Body repairman since he could hold a wrench and was very talented at his profession. He loved watching NASCAR and in his younger days raced on a dirt track. He was preceded in death by his parents and sons Bobby Jerrell Summerville and Donald Wayne Summerville.
He is survived by his daughter, Melody Spurling and Tony Shumake of Bremen; two sons, Tim Muller of Bremen and Darwyn and Kim Summerville of Villa Rica; one sister, Betty and Roger Knight of Bremen; 9 grandchildren, Macee Ivey, Autumn Salyers of Bremen , Chance Spurling of Bremen, Braiden Muller of Bremen, Marcus Newman of Carrollton, Mason Newman of Dawsonville, Andrew Newman of Villa Rica, Adam Summerville of Villa Rica, Ayden Summerville of Villa Rica; 13 great grandchildren, Annie Newman, Hadie Newman, Tulsa Newman, Houston Newman, Noah Newman, Jesse Newman Blakelyn Newman, Kynsleigh Newman, Carrington Newman, Cooper Ivey, Gunner Ivey, Parker Salyers, Kadin Summerville and a host of other relatives and friends
Graveside service will be conducted Saturday, November 13,2021, at 3:00 PM from Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Villa Rica with Patty Hutcheson officiating and the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Braiden Muller, Chance Spurling, Adam Summerville, Ayden Summerville and Andrew Newman.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12-2pm.
