Anthony David Kimball, age 61 of Buchanan, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023. Born in Carrollton on November 15, 1962, he was the son of the late James Hubert "Tony" Kimball and Judy Keown Kimball. In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Dakota Mae Kimball, and by his brother, James Rodney Kimball.
A 1980 graduate of Bremen High School, David was the Logistics/Transportation Manager for JAS Forwarding. He enjoyed spending his Saturdays watching college football, all teams but especially the Georgia Bulldogs. Other television favorites of David's were NCIS and even Hallmark Christmas Movies. Riding motorcycles was a favorite pastime; however, his passion was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Shelly Kinney Kimball, to whom he was married June 20, 1987; his daughters and sons-in-law, Magen and Justin Fincher of Buchanan and Miranda and Jake Massey of Muscadine; his son and daughter-in-law, Cody Kimball and Haylee West of Bremen; and his mother, Judy Kimball of Bremen. Also surviving are his precious grandchildren, Camryn Hulsey, Austin Massey, Kaydence Fincher, Zoey Massey, Cason Fincher, Kaiden White, Kinsleigh White, Karleigh Brooks, and Willow Mae Kimball, as well as one nephew and four nieces and other family.
The funeral service for David Kimball will be conducted Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 1:00 pm from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Lee Patrick and Rev. Aaron Johnson officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, and also on Wednesday from noon until the funeral hour.
In accordance with his wishes, David will be cremated following the service.
