Wilma Jean Robinson Sanders, age 85 of Tallapoosa, gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.  Born in Bremen on September 29, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Henry Oliver Robinson and the late Carrie Elizabeth "Bessie" Bell Robinson.  In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Jimmy Sanders; her sister, Louise Beavers; and her brothers, J.T. Robinson and William "Bud" Robinson.

Like many ladies in the Bremen area, Jean worked for many years at Sewell Manufacturing.  Living her faith and helping others was her mission in life. She was a longtime member of Buchanan Church of God where she was baptized and served where needed. For several years, she and her husband, Jimmy, visited the area nursing homes singing and preaching.  They also had a beloved puppet ministry and did skits at churches and senior centers.  They also spent some time as house parents at the Murphy Harpst Home in Cedartown. But Jean's  favorite job of all was being a helper at the Tallapoosa Senior Center. She enjoyed serving others and encouraging those who needed a kind word.  Another ministry of Jean's was sending cards; birthdays, Christmas, get well, and thinking of you cards were sent to cheer and let others know she was thinking of them.  This earth has lost one of its true angels, but our loss is her gain as she is now with her Lord and Savior and her family who has gone on before.

Left to cherish her memories are her son and daughter-in-law, Cliff and Debbie Sanders of Temple; her sister, Syble Henderson of Bremen; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In keeping with Jean's wishes, she was cremated.

The family will host a celebration of Jean's life on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Baptist Tabernacle Church, 3228 Highway 120, Tallapoosa, GA  30176
