Mr. William Taft Treadwell, Jr. age 68 of Mt. Zion passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. Mr. Treadwell was born on August 31, 1949 in Toombs County, GA. He is the son, of the late William Taft Treadwell, Sr. and Ava Lue Phillips Treadwell.

Survivors include one daughter, Shawn and her husband Victor McGuire of Carrollton; one son, William Taft Treadwell, III; six grandchildren, Victoria Hope McGuire, Tori Treadwell, Skyler Treadwell, Cameron Elkins, Christopher Elkins and Chase McGuire and two great grandchildren Callan McGuire and Aiden McGuire.

In keeping with Mr. Treadwell's wishes he was cremated.
