William Alan Thompson, age 44 of Carrollton, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024.  Born  in Marietta, GA, on February 19, 1979, he was the only son of Brenda McManama Thompson and the late William "Bill" Vernon Thompson.

Alan loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding on the four wheeler.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Thompson. his sister Mary Ann Thompson, all of Carrollton; and other family and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Alan will be cremated.
