William Andy Teal, age 55 of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 15, 1969, in Carrollton, Georgia, to Peggy Blackmon Teal and the late Rexford Lane Teal.

A 1987 graduate of Bremen High School, Andy continued his education by attending and graduating the Police Academy in Rome in 1992.  He went on to serve several years in law enforcement beginning his career in Villa Rica.  Andy relocated to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office where he retired as a Corporal working with the Patrol Division. He loved being outdoors and his favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing. But most of all, Andy loved spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Talisia Posey Teal; his sons, Dalton (Logan Thompson) Teal and Dylan K. Gallman, all of Bremen; his mother, Peggy Teal of Temple; and his brothers, Greg and Melanee' Teal of Tallapoosa, Bradley and Bonnie Teal of Temple, and Tyler and Sara Teal of Whitesburg.  Also surviving are his nephews, Zach Teal, Justin Teal, Lee Teal, Trent Teal, Pete Teal and Wade Teal.

In keeping with Andy's wishes, he will be cremated.
