Mr. William Sebern Swann, age 88, of Buchanan, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019. He was born on February 12, 1932 to the late Elijah Swann and the late Lura Gentry Swann. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Causey Swann; one sister, Myrtle Brown and four brothers, BF Swann, Joe Swann, Mallie Swann and Doris Swann.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn (David) Thrasher of Buchanan; two sons, Kenneth (Shirley) Swann of Buchanan and Danny (Nancy) Swann of Buchanan; two sisters, Ann Joyce Thaxton of Rockmart and Shirley Lane of Hartwell; one brother, Charles Swann of Buchanan; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 19 at 11:00 AM from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Reverend Harold Hamrick and Reverend Joe Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. With the following serving as pallbearers: Kenneth Swann, Danny Swann, Danny Wayne Swann, Drew Swann, Blake Muse and Justin Brown.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
