Mr. William Howard Crawford Sorrells, Jr., age 80, of Buchanan passed away Sunday, November 9, 2014.  Mr. Sorrells was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 28, 1934.  He was the son of the late William Howard Crawford Sorrells, Sr. and the late Grace Dutton Sorrells.  Mr. Sorrells was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a retired truck driver.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy West Sorrells; and two brothers, Bobby Sorrells and Gene Sorrells.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Patricia and Charles Figures of East Point, Betty French of Beach Island, SC and Elizabeth and Stephen Barfield of Graniteville, SC; one son and daughter-in-law, William Howard and Lana Sorrells of Wake Forest, NC; one sister, Barbara Sorrells of Tallapoosa; one brother, Jack Sorrells of Powder Springs; twelve grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date with interment to follow in Brookwood Baptist Church Cemetery in Alpharetta.
