William Avery Ritchie, age 63 of Rockmart, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was born in Atlanta on October 19, 1959, to the late William Booth Ritchie and the late Margaret Avery Ritchie.  Billy was a truck driver most of his life.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Harrison Ritchie and Wendy Tomich; sister, Catherine Patton; grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Gunther Ritchie; and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Billy's wishes he was cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, December 17, 2022, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 2:00 PM. The family will greet friends following the service until 4:30 PM.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
