Jimmy Rainey

William James Rainey, age 73 of Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2026.  Born on August 29, 1952, in Bremen, Georgia, he was the son of the late Hershel James Rainey, Jr. and the late Francis Louise Robinson Beaver.  In addition to his parents, Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Ann Rainey. He retired after many years as a supervisor at Southwire.  

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Amy Rainey; his precious grandchildren Stasha Rainey, William Rainey, Jr. and Bianca Rainey; as well as a number of other family and friends.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Rainey will be cremated.

The family will host a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, with Pastor Sam officiating and Charlie Jones giving the eulogy.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
