Mr. William Edward Preston, Sr., age 68, of Cedartown passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014.  Mr. Preston was born in Polk County on July 21, 1945.  He was the son of the late Bill Preston and the late Arizona Leach Preston.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Ledbetter and brother, Joe Preston.

Mr. Preston is survived by his wife, Vivian Heath Preston of Cedartown; two sons, William Edward Preston, Jr. and wife Paula and Christopher Lee Preston and wife Rebecca; seven grandchildren, Jessica Preston, Joshua Preston, Jeffrey Hammond, Cody Preston, James Preston, Breanna Preston and Justin Preston; two great grandbabies, Lily and his pride and joy, Jerrica Michelle; one brother, Arthur Preston; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Dugdown Baptist Church.
