William Verlyn Parris, age 64 of Temple, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2021. He was born on February 14, 1957 in Atlanta to the late ALvin Parris and the late Willie Marie Payne Parris.

Survivors include son, Shawn Every; brothers and sisters, Raydean Parris, Janetta Moss, Debra Parris Money, Charles Parris, Bobby Parris, Clint Parris and Teresa Hensley; three nephews, Charles Carver, William Carver and Gregory Hensley; one niece, Laura Matlock, many more nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

In keeping with William's wishes he was cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on January 14, 2022 at 2:30 PM Temple United Methodist Church. The family request mask to be worn by those attending.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
