Mr. William Ray Parker, age 66, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017.  Mr. Parker was born in Douglasville, Georgia, on February 13, 1951.  He was the son of the late Maxwell Lamar Parker and the late Mattie Louise Whitmire Parker.  Mr. Parker was a veteran of the United States Navy.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Callie and Brandon Cross of Cumming; one son, Josh Parker of Cumming; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Faye McIntyre of Buchanan, and Keith and Skitter Parker of Covington; one grandchild, Jaxson Cross; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date.
