Mr. William Frank Norton, age 82, of Temple passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017.  Mr. Norton was born in Temple (Haralson County), Georgia, on July 30, 1934.  He was the son of the late James William Norton and the late Irma Davis Norton.  Mr. Norton was a retired automobile mechanic.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Morris Norton; three sisters, Lois Patterson, Ola Mae Caffee and Glemer Thornton; five brothers, Henry Norton, Harvey Norton, Charlie Norton, Davis Norton and Glover Norton.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda and Jimmy Gilreath of Bremen and Linda Wiggins of Temple; two sons, Michael Norton and Joe Norton both of Temple; one sister, Ruby Lloyd of Birmingham, AL; eight grandchildren, Wayne Gilreath, Marie Jackson, Shay Norton, Jennifer Norton, Lacy Chandler, Justin Wiggins, Brendi Lucas and Judson Norton; and a number of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dean Williams officiating.  Music will be rendered by Wayne Gilreath.  Interment will follow in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery, Tallapoosa, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
