William Bernard Hankinson, III, age 70 of Buchanan, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. He was born on October 19, 1951 in Millen, GA to the late William Bernard Hankinson, II and Edna Juanita Crews Hankinson.

Survivors include his mother, Juanita Gillison; one daughter, Rhea Hankinson; son, Rede Hankinson; brothers, Kenneth Hankinson, Johnny Hankinson and Micky Hankinson; nieces and nephews, Hayes, Will, Scott and Michaela and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with the family's wishes he will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at New Beginnings Baptist Church at 1:00 PM.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory.
