Mr. William Frank Burden, Sr., age 81, of 510 Wesley Camp Rd., Tallapoosa passed away Saturday, November 29, 2008. Mr. Burden was born in Haralson County on July 26, 1927. Mr. Burden was a retired equipment operator. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Boyce Burden; and one sister, Minnie Ruth Weatherby. Survivors include one son, William F. Burden, Jr. of Tallapoosa; two brothers, PeeWee Burden of Gulf Shores. AL and Perry Burden of Titus, AL; and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, December 1, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. W.A. Ivie officiating. Interment will follow in the Tallapoosa East Baptist Church Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
