William "Bill" Vernon Thompson, Jr., age 68 of Carrollton, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. He was born on April 28, 1953, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late William Vernon Thompson, Sr. and the late Mary Lizz Allbritton Thompson. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters, Sydney Flanagan and Sandra Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda McManama Thompson of Carrollton; daughter, Mary Ann Thompson of Carrollton; son, William Alan Thompson of Carrollton; two sisters, Linda Taylor and Kathy Green and several other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Bill's wishes he was cremated.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
