Mrs. Willene Blalock Sutton, age 80, of Bremen passed away Friday, June 3, 2011. Mrs. Sutton was born in Gordon County on December 29, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Russell Blalock and the late Lula Eads Blalock. Mrs. Sutton was a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Sutton; and two sons Pinkney Sutton and James Sutton. Survivors include two daughters, Melinda Bennett of Temple and Melita Burelison of Crossville, TN; one son, Kimsey Sutton of Jasper, TN; two sisters, Estelle Kirby of Lafayette and Idell Boice of Dayton, OH; one brother, Roy Blalock of Dalton; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be conducted Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witnesses on Clinton Street in Bremen with Ralph Davis officiating. The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
