Mrs. Willa Dean Burgess James, age 82, of Rockmart passed away Monday, May 19, 2014.  Mrs. James was born in Nashville, Tennessee on February 20, 1932.  She was a homemaker.  Mrs. James was preceded in death by her husband, Joe James.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jim Henderson of Canton; two sons, Michael James of Atlanta and Matthew James of Rockmart; three grandchildren; and other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 3:00 P.M. from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel.  Interment will follow Friday, May 23, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. (Eastern Time) at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
