RioRita Nuncio "Wendy" Hannan, age 87 of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024.  Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on March 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Andy & Estelle Nuncio. In addition to her parents, Wendy is preceded in death by a daughter, Nicole, and a son, Robert.

Wendy spent many years in food services and loved cooking.  She enjoyed life and she especially enjoyed dancing, watching her Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR racing.  Being from New Orleans, she never lost her love of fishing or the Bayou.  However, her passion was spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Melissa, Cheryl, Bobby Joe and Stephanie; her sons, Jason, Tony and Michael; 22 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

In keeping with her wishes, Wendy will be cremated.

Cremation services are entrusted to Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
