Mr. Wendell Jerome Harrell, age 58 of Temple, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in a local hospital.  He was born in Newnan, GA, on July 22, 1963, the son of the late Margaret Truett Harrell and Millard Jerome Harrell.  In addition to his mother, Wendell is preceded in death by a son, Bobby Dwayne Harrell, and  a sister, Wanda Benefield. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and loved his family dearly. Wendell was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Wendell is survived by his wife of 39 years, Martha Fuller Harrell; his three sons, Joshua Wayne Fuller, Anthony Jerome Harrell, and Rocky Shane Harrell, all of Temple; his father, Jerry Harrell;  his sisters, Jennifer and Timmy Blue of Bremen, and Cathy Haney of Tallapoosa; and his brother,  Andy and Tracy Harrell of Waco.  Also surviving are his grandchildren, Brandell Benson, Cody Benson, and Ethan Harrell.

The family will host a celebration of Wendell's life on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. from Liberty Christian Church in Temple.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the cremation arrangements for Mr. Harrell.
